Description

A Banarasi dupatta is made in Varanasi, an ancient city which is also called Benares. The dupattas are among the finest dupattas in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery. The dupatta is made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate design, and, because of these engravings, are relatively heavy.

This white with red and silver zari motifs  is handloom  banarasi Pure chiffon silk dupatta with Silk Mark. It has red and silver zari border. This elegant dupatta is most suited for Festivals, Parties and Weddings. It's best styled with gold or diamond jewellery . The kurti and jewellery worn by the model are not included.

Care instructions: The dupatta is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.

The model wearing this saree is  5'6" height

Slight colour may vary due to camera photography.

Care Guide

Always dry wash your silk and linen dupattas.
Never hand-wash or machine-wash your silk or linen dupattas.
In case the dupatta gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water.
Store the dupatta in a light cotton muslin cloth. This will give the dupatta breathing space and will prevent one cloth from sticking to another when kept in a pile.
Don’t store the dupatta in a plastic cover as this will cause the gold embroidery to turn black.
