A Banarasi dupatta is made in Varanasi, an ancient city which is also called Benaras. The dupattas are among the finest dupattas in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery. The dupatta is made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate design, and, because of these engravings, are relatively heavy.
This blue dupatta with meenakari work is handloom banarasi katan silk. It has broad silver border. This elegant dupatta is most suited for Festivals, Parties and Weddings. It's best styled with gold or diamond jewellery . The kurti and jewellery worn by the model are not included.
